quick facts
Starting therapy can bring up a lot of questions. Below are some of the things people often wonder about. If you don’t see what you’re looking for or want more information, feel free to reach out through the contact page.
what &
who:
Individual counseling for 16+. Messy, complicated, wonderfully human people encouraged.
session
length:
Sessions are 50-minutes. 75- and 90-minute sessions may be available at an additional cost.
rates &
payment:
Sessions are $130 for 50 minutes. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots. Payment is due at the time of session, and I accept all major credit cards.
insurance:
I currently accept Aetna, Cigna, Kaiser of Colorado, and United Healthcare. If your insurance isn't listed, I'm happy to provide a superbill you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
cancellation policy:
I require at least 24 hours advance notice to cancel appointments. If you notify me less than 24 hours before the appointment, you are required to pay half the cost of the session.
modalities & frameworks:
Therapy with me is collaborative, and I tailor things to fit you - not the other way around. I work from a trauma-informed lens and draw from a range of approaches, like psychodynamic, emotion-focused, DBT, parts work, somatic, and nature-based practices, to support you in feeling more like yourself and building a life that feels fulfilling.
specialties:
My work often centers around exploring identity and self-worth, untangling people-pleasing, navigating life transitions, and healing from trauma - including complex, relational, and sexual trauma.
groups:
Groups are offered on a seasonal and as-requested basis. Group topics include but are not limited to sexual truama, DBT skills, art therapy, special events at the farm, and outdoor therapy.
